It's hard to believe that last year at this time I was pregnant...and still suffering from morning sickness. It is going to be a much better St. Pat's Day with my little guy here to share it with. He is definitely my lucky charm. He is 5 1/2 months old already! Hard to believe how quickly time has flown by. In the past month we have had a few "firsts". Aidan and I went on a road trip alone. We went down to see Aunt Beth and Uncle Bill. Then the following day we went to Coffeyville to a baby shower for one of my closest and best friends, Karrie. Her little man, Asher, is due on April 12th. Can't wait for out boys to meet. Karrie and I have been friends for over 20 years...it will so great that our sons will be only 6 months apart. I just wish we lived closer together. Aidan did really well in the car for the most part. I don't think he was really thrilled to be back in the car on day two heading to Coffeyville...he cried more then half way there. I had to stop twice to try to get him to calm down. It was great getting out to visit, but it was great to be back home too. Aidan has also started on baby food. He is eating the basics...rice and oatmeal and several different fruits and vegetables. So far he seems to like them all except for squash and he makes a sour face when he eats peaches. I think they must be pretty tart!
He is fast at grabbing stuff and has mom on her toes. He reached out for Daddy to hold him tonight for the first time...it was really cute. Damian was out of town for several days on a business trip and I think Aidan missed his Daddy!!
Here are a couple of photos of him. His eyes aren't as blue as they once were. They have turned into a blue green. The picture in his St. Patty's Day shirt was taken on his 5 month B-day and the other one taken yesterday in his brand new toy...the Jumperoo. He LOVES jumping!!! It is insanely big and our living room is starting to look like Toys R Us!! What's a mom to do but give him everything he wants!!
