The Great Outdoors

I took Aidan outdoors yesterday. He's been out several times for walks in the stroller...but he's never been able to get down in the grass. It was so sunny and beautiful. When I held him down and let the grass touch his toes he just kicked his feet back and forth. I'm not sure what he thinks about it. We didn't stay out to long...I was afraid I would burn!!! It's that time of year to buy some sunscreen. Aidan had his 6 month check up and his shots yesterday too. He weights 20 lbs and 13 oz and is 28" tall. He's in the 95% percentile on both. Doctor thinks he's going to be a tall boy!

Hanging with Cousin Tyler

My nephew Tyler stopped by to visit on his way to California. He has joined Americorp and will spend the next six months in the national forest. He will be doing trail maintenance among other task. Aidan and I hung out with him for a few days and then took him to the airport to catch his flight. Here are a few pictures of Aidan and Tyler.

Six Months Old

Aidan can roll over and push himself up on all fours. He isn't quite crawling yet, but he can get around by rolling around and pushing himself backwards. He really would love to be up and going. I am already thinking about getting out the baby gates to block off our stairs. He has very strong legs and loves 'standing up'. I can't imagine the day when he stands up and takes off walking.
